 Not all bacteria have capsules present. They all have a slime layer but this is only classified as a capsule when visible under the microscope.

All bacteria possess a cell (plasma) membrane, which surrounds the cytoplasm and controls the movement of materials into and out of the cell. It is an essential structure present in all bacteria.

Chromatin in bacteria refers to the nucleoid region containing DNA. All bacteria have this genetic material necessary for their survival and reproduction.

Ribosomes are present in all bacterial cells. They are responsible for protein synthesis and are essential for cell growth and metabolism.

The capsule is not present in all bacteria. It is an additional outer layer found in some species, providing protection from phagocytosis and desiccation. Bacteria without a visible capsule may only have a slime layer instead.
